Know Your Rights
PCIS leaders provide ongoing Know Your Rights training for Pacific County’s immigrant community. Know Your Rights provides tools and training necessary to navigate the immigration system. Topics include what to do when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrives. When the government arrests or tries to arrest someone, or when a police officer or immigration agent “just wants to talk,” every person in the United States – regardless of citizenship – has certain basic rights. It’s important to be familiar with your rights, so you can protect yourself, your family and others.
