In August, 2017 a remarkable series of articles was published in The Chinook Observer, a Southwest Washington community newspaper. Authored by local columnist Sydney Stevens, the weekly column raised awareness, and provoked a wider community conversation while providing relative anonymity for our undocumented immigrant families.

In the 11th installment dated October 17, 2017, a Pacific County Immigrant Support member offered perspective in the final paragraph titled “An Activist Speaks.”
